We take great pride in all our generators, which is why every single generator that leaves our warehouses or factories undergoes a rigorous pre-delivery inspection, to ensure our products are without fault and ready to get to work for you.
Ensuring the very highest of standards
Our standard pre-delivery inspection includes our team checking that:
- The customer is receiving the product in its best form
- All sockets are working properly, if the customer has ordered them
- There are no leakages
- All working parts function correctly
- All the individual parts of the generator are correct
But at PowerLink we don’t just check the basics of a generator, and we make sure to thoroughly check all components of our diesel and gas generators. A diesel or gas generator does not leave unless it complies with all aspects of our PDI forms.
Our component check, which features 20-30 minutes continuous running, includes, but is not limited to:
- Lubrication and oil
- Filters (oil, air, fuel)
- Oil level switch
- Circuit breakers and RCDs
- Battery and cables
- Engine and alternator
- Control panel
- Fuel tanks
- Emergency stop button
If any part of the generator is found to be damaged or missing, the aftersales service team will provide spare parts and will arrange how the part is to be replaced.
Once the PDI of our generators have been performed successfully, the unit will be wrapped up by our team for pickup/delivery.
